Our God Dances by John McCormick

I paint for beauty. Hopefully as people encounter my creative works they will be a little better when they see the beauty and hope that this world still offers.

There is so much pain and sorrow in the world that I don't attempt to right the ills of the world in my works. I can stand along side encouraging such artists, but that is not my purpose.

I seek rather to bring a little healing into the world and paint themes that interest me. I am not pretentious to say that I am a great artist. I would rather say that my art is evolving as I hope that I am maturing into a whole human being caring for others while discovering who I am.
